Miller's TShirt

If the desert camouflage exterior and the military flags flying high above the entrance don't tip you off, then we'll let you in on a little secret:

Miller's Surplus is the place to get hard-core outdoor gear, and it has been for 54 years.

Step into the "M*A*S*H" room, which the store developed in 2002, and pick up camouflage gear, including the new military-issue digital camouflage, which has a more graphic pattern than traditional camouflage.

The store's seamstress does alterations and even uses the scrap material to create camouflage miniskirts and vests for women.

When you walk out of the "M*A*S*H" room, under the camo tarp into the camping department, you'll feel like you're in a Mount Lemmon campground.

Tents pop up all over the place, and rows of hanging sleeping bags line the wall.

An ideal tent for Tucsonans is a canvas one, which is cooler material and good in warm places.

But the options aren't just limited to desert living.

For the opposite end of the weather spectrum, the store is your one stop Carhartt destination worksite.

For carpenters and other outdoorsman, the store also carries Dickies casual pants in a rainbow of colors, including gray, green, red, brown and black. They go up to a size 72. That's right, a size 72. Miller's is known for carrying a wide selection of big and tall items.
